Day #123

Yeah! 4 months! I won ILYD this morning so now Mr. M and I are tied 2 for 2.

In other worldly news, I’m not sure how many people actually watch Real Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo but the show is the epitome of T.V. trash and as my friend Jill would say…all the better.

So when I heard the release of Kim’s single “Don’t Be Tardy to the Party” today, I had to post it. Thoughts?

Day #122

The idea for the title of this blog came from my parents, who for the last 30+ years have played the “I love you game” every month. The rules are simple. The winner is the first person to say “I love you” on monthly anniversary of your wedding. So our “I love you day” is tomorrow and so far Mr. M has beaten me…twice.

Day #116

It’s the simple things in life that make me smile. How sweet is this little girl?

Day #115

I am overwhelmed.

Today I sat in a meeting in which I thought my boss was going to tell me that I had until 5 o’clock to clean out my desk and start looking for a new job. I despise meetings like that.

So white flag world…white flag…

Day #114

This is one of my favorite stores in Spartanburg . You can grab a tasty lunch or cupcakes with friends, shop for gifts, decorate your house or get invitations to your upcoming all in one stop. It’s a Southern girl’s dream.

Day #110

Penny-Farthing project is up! All seven bikes installed and we beat the rain. Whoo! The downtown art was even mentioned in today's paper and my quote didn’t sound too cheesy.

Now back to working on this on-line auction...

Day #109

Today has been a busy day. Our new downtown public art project is being installed today and tomorrow. I love this time of the project! It’s great to connect with an artist, get their ideas and actually make it happen. To see it in action is having the cherry being placed on the sundae – an overall great feeling.

It’s pretty dreary outside but I’ll post photos when I can.

I’m also working on creating an auction for work on our 2009 Artcycles in hopes to raise money for next year. Fingers crossed that we’ll reach our goal for 2010.

Day #108

Today is our e-day or “celebrating our engagement” day even though we’re married. It’s hard to believe that 18 months ago, Mr. M and I started planning the next chapter in our lives as husband and wife.
Life has been a happy whirlwind since then!

Day #103

Tomorrow is the kick-off weekend to good-byes.

Two of my dearest friends are ironically both moving to Texas
so this weekend is filled with bittersweet parties.

On a happier note…this weekend is also filled with college football including my Wofford Terriers taking on Charleston Southern, Gamecocks versus Georgia and Clemson versus Georgia Tech.

Day #102

I think my schedule has become even busier now that I’m married. Which is the total opposite of what I thought would happen. In efforts of not becoming a member of the “Pile High” club with our home office, I’m staring my search into cute desk accessories.

Day #101

I can’t believe we’ve been married for over 100 days! This summer has been a whir wind with the honeymoon, trips to the beach and Chicago and just settling in to our new home together.

The reason for the blog is because everyday is an “I Love You Day” when you’re married…even when you’re angry.
