Well 2010 knew how to come in with a bang. I found out yesterday that there were layoffs planned at my office. Fortunately, I was not laid off but my department was dissolved. We lost one employee and the other is focusing on internal marketing and I was moved to another department. To be honest, I’m still numb by the changes and slept maybe 2 hours last night. While I think the move will be fine – the department head is nice and I enjoy a challenge, it’s just the fact that life is indeed changing and its happening fast.
